Mallnitz Mountain Advent is a unique event where we celebrate the Advent season amidst the stunning natural surroundings of the mountains.
During our event, we offer a range of activities such as walks along an enchanting route, visits to beautiful spots in the countryside, workshops and much more. The aim of the Mallnitz Mountain Advent is to offer a brief escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to find peace and tranquillity in the serene mountain surroundings.

Advent route
The Mallnitz Mountain Advent is a unique experience in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The Mountain Advent trail takes you along beautifully lit paths lined with cosy huts where food and drink are on sale.
Children can also follow a special route, which includes a challenging treasure hunt.

As it gets colder outside, the days grow shorter and winter slowly blankets the landscape in a white winter coat, the most wonderful time of the year begins – Advent.

Advent travel
As Mallnitz is a member of the Alpine Pearls Network, we recommend travelling by train or bus wherever possible. Mallnitz has its own railway station (Mallnitz-Obervellach Bahnhof).
The Mallnitz Mountain Advent route starts at Mallnitz station, following an enchanting route along the river to the village.
